Spark Flash Fiction exists to provide a place for new authors to gain a publishing credit, established authors to hone their skills, and staff to develop publishing expertise that can grow into opportunities to teach, mentor, and cultivate their readership.

Spark provides flash fiction romance and romance sub-genre stories under 1,000 words. We want stories that will grab the reader and put a lil’ spark in their day. We release four issues a year with eight to twelve new stories in each, including a story by a best-selling, award-winning featured author and one by a Spark staff member.
